Graduate Student Involvement

Graduate students primarily become involved in the AAP project by working as a research assistant or through an independent study. With approval, graduate students also may use the data for their thesis or dissertation. Graduate students working on the project have the opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of the research process. For example, responsibilities of graduate research assistants typically include assisting with managing the project and data, coordinating data collection, creating school reports, supervising data entry, data analysis, presenting findings at conferences, and collaborating on manuscripts for publication.
